The client is a specialist in the growing of food in a soil less environment and has developed an educational approach to introduce students to this science. Comprehensive packs for teachers are available together with kits for students. The objective of the packs is to introduce children to the benefits of this type of agriculture and to demonstrate how it can potentially improve the quality of life for the family unit; and certainly for mankind in the longer term due to the exceptional nutritional value and food yields that can be achieved via the hydroponic approach. The client sees a market across the whole of MENA and Turkey but especially in North Africa where there may be considerable spin off benefits to the local economies of small towns and villages if hydroponic methods are adopted by the families of the students. Experience has been gained in a number of developing countries using hydroponics including Bolivia, Chile, Columbia, Costa Rica, Cuba, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Senegal The Educational approach to hydroponics is not only an interesting and practical learning experience for the student but also has the potential to help developing economies as young people grow and introduce this type of agriculture for the benefit of their own societies. The client is looking for opportunities to promote this type of agriculture with government/educational establishmnts throughout the region and/or in cooperation with local distributors who have an interest in this science.
